We’re proud to confirm that our partnership with Nuffield Health, the UK’s largest healthcare charity, has been renewed as they continue as the Club’s official Healthcare and Well-being partner.
Back in January, the Club announced that we were welcoming Nuffield Health to the Farnham Town family as a Club partner, with the agreement running initially until the end of the 2023/24 season. However, we’re pleased to confirm that we’ve agreed to extend that partnership for another season, running through the 2024/25 campaign.
In May 2022, Nuffield Health illustrated its commitment towards driving improved health and wellbeing in football by becoming the principal Health & Wellbeing partner of The Football Association.
As part of the agreement, Nuffield Health is actively supporting Farnham Town by granting first-team squad members exclusive membership access to their Health, Fitness, and Wellbeing centres. This partnership also includes the provision of extended medical care to the Club, ensuring the well-being of the players is secure moving forward. The partnership will also extend to our newly-formed Women’s team.
Leo Stewart, Healthcare Account Manager at Nuffield Health said: “Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital is proud to be a part of Farnham Town’s success over the past year and looks forward to supporting the team on their continued journey. We are confident that our state-of-the-art facilities will comprehensively and effectively address all the players’ health and well-being concerns.
“We are excited to work with Farnham Town this season to assist with some of the great community initiatives they are part of, ultimately improving the health of the nation. We believe that the club has a clear vision and strategy to improve on and off the pitch. We are thrilled to support their ambitions.”
Ed Kelsing: Club Director said: “We’re pleased to renew our partnership with Nuffield Health for another season. Since being onboarded as a Club partner in January, Nuffield Health have been great in supporting the Club in relation to our health and well-being needs.
“Access to their medical facilities last season helped provide great care to our players throughout the run-in as we completed an unbeaten, title-winning season. I’m sure next season, our first at Step 4 level, they’ll be of great use to the team, as well as our newly-formed Women’s side. I’d like to thank Leo and the team at Nuffield Health for their support over the last few months and we’re looking forward to working closely together again this coming season.”
