Farnham Town are pleased to confirm the signing of left-back Jordan Addo-Antoine from Loughborough Students, following a successful trial period.
The 20-year-old defender came through the academy ranks at Reading until U18 level before completing a move to Aldershot Town in the summer of 2022.
Jordan spent time on loan at Binfield during the 22/23 campaign before leaving Aldershot to play for Loughborough Students in the United Counties League Premier Division, where he is also completing his University studies, helping them achieve promotion to Step 4 in 23/24.
Throughout the pre-season, Jordan has been on trial with the Town, impressing in pre-season friendlies against Bracknell Town, Dorking Wanderers and Cobham and is now rewarded by linking up with the squad on a permanent basis.
A talented young player, Jordan will add extra competition at left-back this coming season while also being able to play in a more advanced role.
Manager Paul Johnson said: “Jordan was a player who came on our radar during the summer and we invited him to come and train with us over pre-season. He looked sharp in training and when given some minutes in pre-season, he’s taken his opportunities well.
“Still studying at Loughborough so that he will be balancing his football with his studies, but we were really impressed with his commitment this summer to work hard and make an impact in pre-season, and he’s someone we want to have around the group whenever we can. He’s a young lad with a lot of talent, I’m hopeful that we can see a lot of him this season.”
Having trained with the squad over the last few weeks, Jordan remains among the group and is in contention to feature in our Isthmian South Central opener away at Badshot Lea on August 10th.
