Farnham Town are delighted to announce the signing of striker Great Evans from Southern League Premier South side Bracknell Town.
The 23-year-old striker arrives after spending the past few months with Bracknell Town, joining them at the start of March from league rivals Hungerford Town. Evans scored seven in 13 games over the final weeks of the 23/24 season, prompting the Robins to retain his services for the following season.
Evans scored the opener in Bracknell’s 4-1 win over the Town to end our pre-season back in July and has appeared in all six of their fixtures so far this season, making five starts.
Prior to his time at the SB Stadium, Evans came through the academy at AFC Wimbledon and had spells with Met Police and Hayes & Yeading United before joining South Park in December 2018. Throughout the 18/19 campaign, Evans scored 15 goals in total, including 13 in 23 games for the Sparks.
Between the summer of 2019 and February 2023, Evans also spent time with Wingate, Leatherhead, Harrow Borough and Kingstonian ahead of joining Hungerford Town where he made 32 appearances across two seasons. Great comes straight into the squad and has been registered in time for our league clash with Harrow Borough on Saturday, September 14th.
The striker arrives at The Memorial Ground having made the decision to leave Bracknell Town and will wear the No.25 jersey this season. Everyone at the Club would like to extend our best wishes to Great as we welcome him to the fold!
