Farnham Town are thrilled to announce the signing of left-back Brandon Mason from National League South side St Albans City on a contract until June 2026.
The vastly experienced fullback came through the ranks at Watford and made two appearances in the Premier League for the Hornets during the 2016/17 season before moving on to Coventry City where he made 45 appearances across two seasons for the Sky Blues, aiding their promotion to the Championship in 2020.
After spells with MK Dons and Crawley Town, Mason settled down with Wealdstone in the National League, making 27 league appearances for the Stones between October 2023 and January 2025 prior to moving to St Albans City where he started each of the final 20 games of their National League South campaign.
Having played both full-back positions and also in a more advanced wing-back role, Brandon’s arrival offers the Town some excellent options in a variety of roles.

Bringing with him a wealth of experience in the pro game and at the upper echelons of the Non-League system, everyone at Farnham Town is excited to watch the next chapter of Brandon’s career at The Memorial Ground. Brandon will wear the No.3 shirt next season.
Manager Paul Johnson said: “We knew the left side was an area we wanted to address this summer, bringing in a player who is a natural down that flank and could add real quality to the side, and Brandon is exactly that. He’s been in the pro game, has played his entire career in the Football League or at the top end of the Non-League system and has enjoyed a great career so far.
“That experience in the pro game is going to be big for us, bringing that into our dressing room and being a vocal leader in the group is something we’re looking forward to seeing Brandon add. As a player, his quality speaks for itself and I expect him to settle in fast. He’s a great lad and I look forward working closely with him this season.”
Chairman Harry Hugo added; “From chatting to Brandon and his family, I could tell he was a very grounded individual and someone who really just wants to enjoy his football and contend for honours. Over the past two seasons at Farnham, we’ve proven that we’re not just here to make the numbers up, we want to contend, and that aligned well with what Brandon wants to get out of his football.
“Coming from the pro game and playing at National League level, he’s a top player who is going to raise the floor of our team significantly. It was an area we wanted to address early in the summer and we’re glad that Brandon turned down other opportunities to come and join us at Farnham Town. I believe the fans are going to love getting to know Brandon the player and the person, and I look forward to seeing him in our colours this season!”
He becomes the Club’s second new arrival of the summer, following Tom Leggett who joined from Salisbury.
