Farnham Town are pleased to announce that midfielder Kai Tanner has agreed to terms to stay at the Club for the 2025/26 season.
Since returning to the Club in August 2023, Kai has been an invaluable member of the squad, filling in across multiple positions and giving his all to contribute towards the success of the team during that time.
Whether that’s been in midfield, a more advanced role or providing cover at either fullback position, Kai’s work ethic and willingness to do whatever it takes has helped the Town to back-to-back promotions.
Kai will always have his name written in Farnham Town history, scoring the first goal of our comeback away at Jersey Bulls in March 2024 which clinched the Combined Counties Premier Division South title en route to completing an invincible league campaign.
Over the past two seasons Kai has made 75 appearances for the Club, scoring 11 goals and providing 11 assists, and now as we prepare for life at Step 3 for the first time, we’re very happy that Kai has committed again to us to aid our efforts at the highest level the Club’s ever played at.
Tanner joins Max Meaton, Jack Dean, Jordan Stepney, Joe Jackson, Ryan Kinnane and Harry Cooksley in agreeing to terms for the new season, while Owen Dean, Darryl Sanders, Zaki Oualah and Sam Evans all remain under contract.
