Farnham Town is delighted to announce the signing of experienced goalkeeper Michael Eacott from Bracknell Town on a deal until the end of the 2026/27 season.
The 30-year-old shot-stopper carved out a tremendous non-league career with with the Robins following his arrival from Sutton Common Rovers in September 2021, amassing just shy of 200 appearances for Bracknell over the last four years.
Eacott was the last line of defence in a dominant Bracknell side that romped to the Isthmian South Central league title in 2021/22, winning the league by 20 points, suffering only two defeats and conceding just 12 goals in the 36-game campaign.
The following season, Bracknell rode that momentum and nearly made it back-to-back league titles and promotions but ultimately fell just three points short of Western-super-Mare in the Southern League Premier South before suffering a heart-breaking 3-2 defeat to Truro City in the Play-Off Final. Bracknell would reach the play-offs again in 2023/24 but would be edged out in the semi-finals this time by AFC Totton.
It was announced earlier this month, following a change in management, that Michael would be leaving Bracknell in pursuit of a new challenge and we’re excited to welcome him to the Club.
We’d like to thank everyone at Bracknell Town for their support in ensuring his registration was taken care of swiftly. Michael is registered and is immediately available for selection.
