Farnham Town agrees terms to sign Seb Bowerman from Bracknell Town

Farnham Town is delighted to announce we have agreed to terms for the signing of attacking midfielder Seb Bowerman from Southern League Premier South rivals Bracknell Town for an undisclosed fee, subject to Southern League and FA approval.

For much of the past decade, Bowerman has plied his trade for the Robins, originally joining the Club in the summer of 2016 from Binfield, kicking off a six-year spell with Bracknell where he helped steer them from Step 5 and into Step 3 where they currently sit.

His 29-goal season in the 2021/22 campaign helped Bracknell romp to the Isthmian South Central title, finishing 20 points clear at the top of the table, earning himself a move to Dorking Wanderers where he appeared 68 times in the league over two years across the National League and National League South, scoring seven times.

A change in work circumstances in November 2024 led to his departure from Dorking and return to Bracknell Town where he now captains the side. This season, despite a slow start to the campaign for the Robins, Bowerman has 11 goals in 32 league appearances.

The 30-year-old is considered one of the most influential players in the division and everyone at the Club is thrilled to add him to the mix as we enter the final weeks of the season.

Chairman Harry Hugo adds: “As has become a trend in recent years, we’re always looking to add a player of significance to the squad to close out the season strong, and in Seb we’ve been able to bring in one of the best in the division.

“We have looked at Seb in the past but were unable to get things over the line for various reasons, but we’re thrilled to bring him in now for what should be a huge end to the season for Farnham Town.

“We have 13 cup finals left in the league as we look to finish as high as we can, and possibly more to come after those. Seb arrives with terrific experience and has a proven track record – he should be an immediate impact player for us and we’re glad to have him.”

We’d like to thank everyone at Bracknell Town for ensuring the transfer was conducted as swift as possible.
