Farnham Town is proud to announce that we are hosting ‘More Than a Pitch‘ Celebrity Football Match at The Memorial Ground on Saturday, May 9th 2026 – 3PM kick-off.
The occasion brings together stars from football, sport and entertainment to help raise money towards building a life-changing all-weather 3G pitch for More House School and the local grassroots football community.

Why This Match Matters
This campaign began with mums whose children arrived at More House having struggled to be understood — shaped by developmental language disorders, dyslexia, autism and ADHD.
Then they step onto a pitch. Because here, it doesn’t matter how quickly you read or how confident you are writing. Effort matters. Teamwork matters. Showing up matters.
But too often, waterlogged pitches take those moments away, stopping play, confidence and connection. This 3G pitch will give it back. A place where children and the wider community can train, compete and belong all year round.
Tickets are available now with more than 1,000 already sold in support of the project. General Admission is priced at £12 with under-5s welcomed for free.
