Town Under 18s Are Title Winners!

Farnham Crowned Champions With A 4-1 Win Over Badshot Lea.

It really doesn’t get any better than this!

Winning the league title.

In the last match of the league season.

Under the floodlights. in front of your home fans,

With an emphatic 4-1 victory over your local rivals!

For Farnham, this was a result that was never in doubt.

An early goal from Frankie Jamieson, whose performance impressed throughout the match, settled the nerves of the home supporters, and the only surprise was that the Town weren’t out of sight by half time.

For this, Badshot Lea had to thank an inspired performance from their ‘keeper, who pulled off a succession of superb saves, including two occasions when Olly Ryman found himself through one on one, only to be denied.

The general feeling at half time was that the Town needed a second goal.

Thankfully, the fans didn’t have to wait too long for it as, after another period of prolonged pressure from Farnham, Olly Ryman finally found the back of the net, at the second attempt, four minutes after the restart.

For the next half an hour, the Town were in complete control of the match and this dominance was rewarded with further goals from Michael Carron, with a slick solo goal in the 80th minute, and Max Cunningham, heading home a Farnham free kick with two minutes remaining.

All that remained was for Badshot Lea to snatch a surprise consolation goal in the 89th minute with a looping header from a free kick evading everybody to sail in.

And that was that.

Under manager Dan Goodall and his management team, Farnham Town Under 18s are now league champions!

It really doesn’t get any better than this!
