Farnham Town Football Club wish to invite applications from suitably qualified individuals for the position of First Team Manager.
Role & Responsibilities
The successful applicant will have full control of all First Team footballing matters and will be responsible for all aspects of First Team training and player recruitment, performance analysis, opposition scouting, research and match preparation.
They will be expected to develop a First Team capable of delivering the results required to maintain our progress and achieve our long and short term objectives,
They will be expected to work with the Development and Youth Team coaches to facilitate the development and experiential opportunities for the Club’s Development and Youth Team players
They will be expected to assist the Club with its commercial and community initiatives, including attendance at events, whether club or community-based.
Required Skills & Experience
Applicants are required to demonstrate their ability to satisfy the following criteria:
Excellent leadership, man management and motivational skills,
A track record of success at Step 5 and, ideally, higher level football in England.
Excellent contacts and relationships within the non-league football community
A recognised FA coaching qualification or a suitably qualified and experienced coaching assistant as a permanent member of your management team
Success in bringing through young players into the first team
A commitment to integrate with the local community
Farnham Town Football Club
Having gained promotion to Step 5 last season, Farnham Town FC has consolidated its league position and is now looking to become a competitive force pushing for promotion.
With this in mind, the Club has put in place ambitious plans to obtain planning permission and funding to improve the ground grading with additional seating and spectator facilities, has put in place pre-season training at Lord Wandsworth College, and is dedicated to the successful development of Youth Team players.
The Club’s successful ongoing integration with the local community is generating increasing levels of commercial sponsorship, attendances and match day revenue to support our football development.
And the Club has a commitment to inclusivity, with over 600 Youth Players across 60 teams, a title-winning Under 18s team, a Development Team that has seen 10 players transition to the First Team this season, three Vets Teams, and a Walking Football Team.
