Farnham Town Receive Planning Permission For Ground & Facility Improvements

Plans Herald The Biggest Development That Farnham Town Has Ever Made.

Following extensive work by Farnham Town Committee Members Ed Kelsing and Mick Morgan last year, Farnham Town Football Club have now received planning permission for ground improvements that will further improve the matchday experience for our growing band of supporters, and prepare the club for the potential of future promotions.

The club is not only extremely grateful for the support of Farnham Town Council and our local residents who presented no objections to the proposals, but also to the continued financial support from our community partners and the Football Foundation.

The plans shown below include the construction of a new all-seater stand and player tunnel in front of the existing changing rooms, a pitchside toilet block that provides improved facilities for those fans who have mobility issues or who are registered as disabled, and an extension to The Clubhouse that will also include improved toilet facilities.

Funding for the new developments will come from a combination of the club’s resources, the support of our community partners, contribution from the Football Foundation and the launch of a Crowdfunder campaign.

Initial development work is scheduled to commence in the coming months and will follow on from the installation of brand new railings around the ground that will take place in the first two weeks of October.
