Farnham Town announce Ryan Kinnane as new club captain

Farnham Town can confirm that Ryan Kinnane has been named the new club captain following the departure of Guy Hollis.

Hollis left the club after five months and 10 appearances for The Town having been named as the captain after arriving from Bracknell Town in the summer, but left the club this week to join Farnborough of the National League South.

Kinnane, who also joined the club in the summer after captaining Berkhamsted to a League & Cup double in 2022/23 after winning the Southern League Central Division & Herts Senior Cup, was the squad’s vice-captain prior to the Hollis’ departure. Harry Cooksley will become the new vice-captain.

Ryan has played every minute of Farnham’s Combined Counties Premier Division South campaign so far this season, making 28 appearances in total across all competitions, scoring six goals and contributing to keeping 15 clean sheets in the process.

During the three months where Hollis was sidelined with a knee injury, Kinnane captained the side on 18 occasions across League, FA Cup & FA Vase, with The Town winning 17 of those games. He also captained us during last night’s 3-2 win over Spelthorne Sports.
