Club Operations Director Keith Leybourne steps down from role

Club Operations Director Keith Leybourne has taken the decision to stand down from his role at the club for personal reasons.

Keith’s role started out at Farnham Town FC within the youth setup when it was first launched, growing the playing members to 300 and playing a key role within operations and administration prior to its merger with Farnham United.

In recent years, Keith moved across to the senior side of the club four years ago with the majority of his time being spent helping with matchday logistics and developing the clubs facilities.

Here are some photos of what the Clubhouse looked like prior to its redevelopment, of which Keith had a leading role in.

Club Director Ed Kelsing comments, “since coming on board, Keith has been one of the key individuals responsible for how the club has developed”

“Lots of people in non league football can talk about good ideas to improve a club but ideas are nothing if you don’t have do’ers and Keith was exactly that. He’s allowed our ideas to come to fruition and had the ability to voluntarily throw himself into anything which would help the Club move forwards”

“The Club will be forever grateful for the fine work he has delivered at Farnham over recent years. There isn’t much around the ground today I can look at that didn’t have Keith’s involvement and assistance”

“I know Keith holds the Club very close to his heart and we hope to see him back down the ground soon”

While Keith has stepped down as a Director, we look forward to welcoming him back as a fan in the years to come.

Paul Tanner, Dean Nelson, Harry Hugo and Ed Kelsing remain as the existing Club Directors.
